There's a beatiful  oasis of calm right in the middle of the central business district in downtown Dallas. It's a bit tucked away, and if you only walk by on the street, you'll miss most of its charms. Come with me into Thanks-Giving Square to discover this hidden gem and all the treasures it holds inside.

If you only have one day to spend in Dallas, I'd highly recommend spending the day at this urban park built on a freeway deck. If you live in downtown Dallas, you'll want to spend lots of time at Klyde Warren Park and the adjacent Dallas Arts District. Here are a few reasons why.

You might think there's not much to find in the way of art in West Dallas. But you'd be wrong. There are more than 20 art studios and at least the same number of murals in the neighborhood along Singleton Blvd near Trinity Groves. From Beckley to Sylvan, and Canada Drive to Fabrication street, there's art along Singleton and tucked into little nooks off of surrounding streets.
